Nadine Shapiro – Northampton, MA
Soon after graduating from college I was diagnosed with MS. I had only a few short years to use my art history degree in the museum world before cognitive problems and fatigue forced me to apply for disability. This has given me the time to revisit creating art, which I did often growing up. Since having MS it’s hard for me to get started on a work, with the fatigue and changes in my vision, but when I do I’m happy. Art is always worth it.
